Blood: Red liquid that is in your body.
eg. When you cut yourself, you often bleed, so you put a bandage on your cut to stop the blood from coming out.

Scary movies: When there are surprising or frightening things that happen in the story.
eg. I like to see scary movies at night. Four years ago, when I saw a scary movie, I was very scared, but now, its ok, I can handle it.

Nightmare (noun): A bad or scary dream.
eg. I don’t watch scary movies before bed otherwise I will have nightmares and not be able to sleep.

Dare Devil: Someone who likes to do scary things – for example likes to ski off the mountain, like fast motorbikes and doesn’t mind rock climbing.

Bungee Jumping: When you attach a rope to your body and jump off a bridge and bounce back – an adventure sport.

BBQ (barbecue): To cook meat or vegetables over a fire, often with a grill. So the flavor is very delicious.
eg. When I visit my parents on their farm in Canada, we often have outdoor barbecue, we barbecue meet like steaks, hot dogs, sausages, hamburgers, chicken, corn, mushrooms, and red peppers.

Scuba diving: When you put special breathing equipment and a tank on your back and go under water to look at fish.

Sky diving: When you jump out of airplane with a parachute.

Horseback riding: Riding horses for fun.

Midget: Someone who is born and grows to be only very small.
