Speaking exercise

Last week, we had the dragon boat festival, we went to the Suzhou for a vacation. Me and my classmates, when we finished I wanted to give them money, when we got back, I asked how much to pay them. They said I didn’t need to pay because we have a good relationship, I don’t think that is a good reason. They decided to have a dinner and I can pay.

I don’t want anyone to pay money for me.

When we are 18 we leave home and school, we have a job and we have to pay everything for ourself. If anyone paid money or something for you, you need to,

We like to eat the food, the famous food in Suzhou is the noodles, we ordered three bowls of the noodles. I think its very expensive, it was very expensive, 500 RMB, but the restaurant was very famous. I think it was so so.  The restaurant has beautiful decoration. My classmates choose it.

I like to sleep at a good hotel, I think the new hotel is the good choose. But if the old hotel, is good equipment, I like it.

Last week, we had the for dragon boat festival, we went to the Suzhou for a vacation. Me and My two classmates paid for everything during our trip. When we got back/home, when we finished I wanted to give them money, when we got back. I asked how much I owed to pay them. They said I didn’t need to pay because we are good friends have a good relationship, but I don’t think that is a good reason. I didn’t feel comfortable owing them money. They refused to let me pay, but suggested that I just buy them dinner  this weekend, so its equal. They decided to have a dinner and I can pay.  

I don’t want anyone to pay money for me. I don’t want to owe anyone money.

Vocabulary

eg. Women in 2020 would like to have equal pay to men. Women want to be paid the same as men.
eg. These days, people around the world are fighting for equality, so that no matter if you are black, or white or any nationality or gender, you will be treated with respect.

Owe: When you borrow money from someone or when someone gives you money (or something valuable) or buys you something, you owe them.
eg. I don’t like to owe money to anyone. I don’t like when people buy me dinner all the time and don’t want me to pay. It makes me feel uncomfortable, I don’t like to owe anyone anything.

Interior Decoration/Decor: The design and look of the inside of a room, or building or restaurant.
eg. The interior decor of the restaurant was very fancy and modern. The noodles were not good value for money, but the restaurant had beautiful decorations.

Okay and OK are THEM SAME, no difference, both are correct.
