Tell a story using singular words and plural nouns to practice when to add “s” to the end of a noun and when not to, for example, “year” and “years”, “apple and apples”, “cat” and “cats”.

Richard is telling me a story about how he lost something and found it:

The two month ago, I doesn’t found my cat and my grandmother said he can back home, but thirty minutes is passed and he doesn’t go to the home and my grandmother will go to the garden outside home to find the cat. My mom is back home, and my mom said maybe I can find the cat. My mom is going to the garden outside and the cat is under the car and my mom catched the cat to the home.

Yesterday, I eat a big dinner, we have the chicken, some rice and some vegetables.

Last time on the school was 23rd of June.

I like to study the computer class. I like to make PowerPoints.

If don’t have a picture in the Powerpoint, I can’t do it.

I can watch a video and play the video games on my Ipad.

I like play Mindcraft.

I spend one hours or two hours every day playing games and watching videos.

My favorite food are apple.

I take the train ten times.

My house has a cat and a dog. The cat name is Red Beans. And the dog name is Yellow Beans.

The cat is one years and 8 months old and the dog is one years old.

ex. I am 9 years old, but my dog is one year old (because he is no more than one, so its singular not plural)
ex: I have one apple, not two apples.

Vocabulary

1. Airplane: (noun) A carrier for transporting people in the air to different places.
   Ex. I took an airplane and we went from Shanghai to Beijing. I also took the train from Beijing to Shanghai.

2. Fly (verb): To go up in the sky.
Ex. Birds fly high in the sky.
Ex. Airplanes fly to many different cities and countries.

3. Return (verb): To come back or give back or go back from one place to another place.
Ex. My mom returned home from work.
Ex. I returned the book to the book shelf.

Grammar

Catch (verb), present tense; Caught (past tense of “catch”)
Ex. My mom caught the cat and brought her home.
Ex. When I see flies in my room, I catch them and kill them.
