Writing exercise

Original:

When I was a kid I used to tidy my room by myself,my mom and a cleaner used to clean other places of our department.
Actually I really liked clean and tidy room when I was young.Because I was satisfied after I cleaned room and kept everything in their right place.
However,I work and not live with my family now,I am getting lazier and not that into doing housework.A main reason is that my work take the most of my time.
But I still think it’s useful and necessary for kids to learn how to do housework. My friend she never did housework when she was a kid,Her mom did everything for her.So she don’t have the habit of doing housework. She always gathering the duty clothes and garbages for several weeks.I don’t think which is a good habit to an girl.
So ,although cleaning machine will instead of people to cleaning soon,I still would like to say that Let’s kids share some housework.

Edited:

When I was a kid I used to tidy my room by myself, and my mom and the cleaner used to clean the other part of our apartment.
Actually, I really liked cleaning and tidying my room when I was young, and felt very satisfied after finishing it and kept everything in their right place. However, now that I work and do not live with my family anymore, I am getting lazier and not that into doing housework. The main reason behind this is that my work takes up most of my time.

But I still think  it’s useful and necessary for kids to learn how to do housework. I have a friend who never did housework when she was a kid. Her mom did everything for her, so she doesn’t have the habit of doing housework and always accumulates dirty clothes and garbage for several weeks. I don’t think this is a good habit. So, even though in the future machines might do all the cleaning instead of people, I still believe that kids should do their share of housework.
