Vocabulary

Deadline (n): 1-  a time or day by which something must be done.
E.g.: There’s no way I can meet that deadline.
E.g.: We’re working to a tight deadline (= we do not have much time to finish the work).
E.g.: The deadline for applications is June 30th.

Oppress (v): 1- to make a person feel uncomfortable or anxious.
E.g.: He’s feeling oppressed by the approach of a deadline.

Hangry (adj – joke): 1- angry because you’re hungry.
E.g.: People often get hangry when their blood sugar level is low.
E.g.: After waiting for my friends for a long time, I started feeling hangry.

Sale (n): 1-  an act of exchanging something for money. 2- 拍卖
E.g.: The sale of cigarettes/alcohol is forbidden.
E.g.: The building company gets commission on each house sale.
E.g.: I haven’t made a sale all morning.

Sell (v) to give something to someone else in return for money. 2-
E.g.: I sold him my car/I sold my car to him for $600.
E.g.: We are selling the tickets at/for $50 each.
E.g.: The store sells drinks and snacks.

Etc. = Etcetera = And so on

Grammar

My vocabulary is very small and I have forget a lot. – My vocabulary is very small / limited and I have forgotten a lot.
