Vocabulary

Spring:
Spring is warm. It is the season of the flowers. In spring we can have picnic in the park.

Summer:
Summer is hot. In summer we go to the beach and swim. We can also go camping with our family.

Fall / Autumn:
Fall is cool. In fall the leaves fall from the trees. In fall we can fly a kite.

Winter:
Winter is cold. In winter it snows. We can make a snowman.

Do you like spring?

No, I don’t. I like summer and winter. I like to see snow and to make a snowman, so I really like winter. I also really like summer, because I get to go swimming with my cousin.

What can you see in spring?

In spring I can see lot of flowers, birds and other animals when I go out with my father.

What can you do in spring?

In spring I can go to the park with my friends and my mother. We can look at the flowers, play with the animals, and have a picnic. If it’s warm, we also go to eat chocolate ice cream.

What can you see in the picture below?

I can see a boy, a girl, a little dog and a big bear. They are friends and they are happy to be together. It is a beautiful, sunny day and they are going camping. There are many flowers on the way, so maybe it is spring.
