Today we focused on:
Consumerism (n): 1- the situation in which too much attention is given to buying and owning things.
E.g.: He disliked Christmas and its rampant (= extreme) consumerism.
Overrun (adj): 1- to spread over an area quickly and in large numbers.
E.g.: The city has become more and more unpleasant because it is overrun with tourists.
Conservation (n): 1- the protection of plants and animals, natural areas, and interesting and important structures and buildings, especially from the damaging effects of human activity:
E.g.: He works with wildlife conservation.
E.g.: These mountains are in a conservation area.
Supplier (n): 1- a person, company, or country that provides goods of a particular kind, especially for a long period of time.
E.g.: The factory gets its materials from different suppliers in the area.
E.g.: They are the world’s largest supplier of baby foods.
Vendor (n): 1- a person or company that sells goods or services:
E.g.: Our company deals with many vendors of women’s clothing.
Hallucination (n): 1- 幻觉
Grammar
It is a Germany company. – It is a German company. | The company is from Germany.
They can speak good English because they go to university from other countries. – They can speak good English because they went to university in other countries.
