Vocabulary
State-owned enterprise (n): 1- a company owned by the government.
E.g.: China Unicom is a state-owned enterprise.
Probation (n): 1- a period of time at the start of a new job when you are watched and tested to see if you are suitable for the job.
E.g.: The first three months at the job are considered a period of probation, so you must make sure you don’t do anything too bad.
Corporation (n): 1- a large company or group of companies that is controlled together as a single organization:
E.g.: GM is a multinational corporation
E.g.: Apple and Amazon are some of the world’s largest corporations.
Corporate (adj): 1- relating to a business, especially a large business.
E.g.: Corporate influence often changes government policies, because corporations have lots of power over politicians.
E.g.: Analysts are expecting share prices to fall in the first quarter of next year because of poor corporate earnings.
E.g.: He rapidly rose in the corporate hierarchy.

Grammar
