Vocabulary

Distinctive vs. Exclusive – something that is distinct has a unique element, it is different from everything else; restricted to some group, some purpose, it is limited in some way
e.g. This baijiu is distinctive for its sesame taste (only this baijiu, or at least only some group, has this sesame flavor).
e.g. This is a very exclusive yacht club. Only one in 100 applicants is accepted as a member (only about how few people can into this club, not why it is special).

Expert vs. Expertise – the person is the expert, their special knowledge is their expertise

Fully capitalized – to receive all the investment money you need to start a business
e.g. This startup is now fully capitalized and can begin operations in the next few weeks.

Data vs. datum – usually we just say “data” as a mass noun, like water
