Vocabulary

Mail – all of the messages and boxes sent and received (electronically or physically); (v) to send someone a physical package or letter
e.g. We received a lot of mail today (many letters, emails, or packages)
e.g. The company is going to mail us the sample so we can see if it will work for us.
Letter – a piece of physical mail
e.g. He sent me a letter with the contract we need to sign.
Email – an electronic letter; all electronic mail; (v) to send an electronic letter or file
e.g. I have so much email coming in and out every day.
e.g. I sent him an email asking if he had any job openings.
e.g. I will email you the document I was talking about.

Further – more or beyond what was already done or said; to do more, to improve
e.g. We have already dominated the Shanghai market, but we need to go further and establish a strong presence in this region.
e.g. I think that this deal could help to further the development of good relations between our companies.
As per – related to what was done before, accordingly
e.g. As per our conversation today…
e.g. As per our discussion earlier…

Infect – to get someone sick, or for a cut to turn red, usually a medical term; to influence a person’s ideas (negative)
e.g. He didn’t clean his wound, so it got infected.
e.g. His negative attitude has infected the whole team (the idea of spreading like a disease; always use it in the form: “infect with [what]”)

According to – in agreement with something else, like a contract, law, policy, etc.
e.g. According to my contract I should be receiving . . .
e.g. According to the new tax law, I will have to pay . . .

End-user – the person who will eventually have the agreement, or product

Grammar

The biggest company – there is only one
One of the two biggest companies – two companies are equally large, and there are no companies larger than these (this is a small group of “the best” within a larger group like “wedding companies”)
One of the biggest companies – the company is near the top of the group in terms of size, but not the largest
— For the last two, the format is always “One of the [adjective-est] [nouns],” the noun is plural (companies, apples, cars)

Three days wedding – Three day wedding
— When you describe how long something is going to take and put it in front as an adjective, don’t use “s”
e.g. We are going on a four-day trip to Hangzhou.
BUT: We are going to Hangzhou for four days.
To describe how long something will need to be completed, use “take”
e.g. It will take us four days to get to Hangzhou.
— When you describe how many times you will do something, or how often, use “s”
e.g. Four days a week we go to the gym together.
e.g. We ate pizza three days in a row this week (we are talking about what happened on each individual day)

Further the conversation, TAT cooperation with the one of biggest wedding company in China called “Top One” to organize for 3 days wedding academy to teach those china wedding company organizer how to holding the best oversea wedding and also would like to promote Thailand as a real honey moon wedding destination.

The wedding academy will be holding from April 8 – 12 at Le Meridien Chiang Mai.

Will be around 90 wedding company and 150 people to attend. (company list as attachment)

TAT & Top One weddings as the value partner with us, they are willing to arrange a last mints site inspection for Anantara Chiang Mai to promote us as a” hot honey moon wedding spot”.

The only request is transfer from Le Meridien Chiang Mai.

The date will be on April 11, will be update you either morning or afternoon.

And forecast around 40-50 wedding company willing to visit us.

So please let me know how many persons for the maximum reception is the best for us.

Also for the second day’s table top, I can’t see you at the Table Top Hotel list. (as attachment)

I sure I can ask them to add one table for us as free, please update me if you want.

I believe this is a very good opportunity to promotion Anantara Chiang Mai for honey moon wedding market for China.
