Vocabulary

Accommodate – to change your plans to make it easier for someone else; to have enough space/resources to have people in some place
e.g. Could you accommodate a change in our class time from 5 to 5:30?
e.g. This venue can accommodate 50 people (maximum).

Reach out – try to contact some person or some particular group/type of person

Appeal vs. Attract – ideas vs. things (usually, in their feeling); attraction also seems to be more about movement, I’m actually going to try to get this thing

The email for our founder

Hi Matthew,

Can I have a talk with you again to talk about possibilities for the instructor recruitment, public trainings, and the content on digital platform next week? There are some potential opportunities that we definitely can work better.

Content on collaborative platform
We can only accommodate _____ members in maximum at studios but if we spread this content online, we can reach out not only these numbers and our instructors can get involved in content and production.

2. The recruitment
We should approach more talented people. The music, the movement or the performance is still the core of their lifestyles. If we expect to have more talented people to become our star instructors, we can’t just hire instructors with fitness background.

3. Instructors continuing education (Music, Performance Art)
Currently, we do not offer any music, performance art or related continuing education for our instructors. If we don’t keep on providing more teaching weapons and more “ nutritions” for our instructors, it’s very hard that our instructors are the highest quality in the industry.

4. public training syllabus
After Nike superworkshop , 2-3 gym/studio managers from 2nd tier cities approached me to see if there are any possibilities to have our barre training. A few members asked me if we have Xtend Barre public training. I feel we really have to release public training programs as soon as we can. I know Robyn works on the content and the connection with Andrea but the syllabus, the promotion, the pricing, and the target should be considered at the same time. I’m not sure if I can help anything on the process.

I look forward to hearing you back. thank you Matthew.

Thank you for your understanding.

Hi Matthew,

Can I have a talk with you again Do you have time next week to talk about further possibilities for the instructor recruitment, public trainings, and the digital content (for the digital platform) next week? There are some potential opportunities that we definitely can take advantage of.

1. Content for collaborative platforms
We can only reach _____ members, in maximum, at studios, but if we spread this content online, we can reach out not only these even greater numbers. and In addition, our instructors can get involved in content and production.

2. The Recruitment
We should approach more a broader pool of talented people, those for whom The music, the movement, and the performance is still the core of their lifestyles. If we expect to have attract / recruit / get more talented people to become our star instructors, we can’t just limit ourselves to hiring instructors with fitness background.

3. Instructors’ continuing education (Music, Performance Art)
Currently, we do not offer any music, performance art or related continuing education for our instructors. If we don’t keep on provide more teaching weapons / tools and more “nutrition” for our instructors’ growth, it’s very hard unlikely that our instructors are remain the highest quality in the industry.

4. Public training syllabus
After the Nike Superworkshop, 2-3 gym/studio managers from 2nd tier cities approached me to see if there are any possibilities to have attend / participate in our barre training. A few members also asked me if we have Xtend Barre public training. Both of these groups present potential pools to increase our income from training sessions with a minimum of effort. I feel we really have to release public training programs as soon as possible, before our competitors get into the market. I know Robyn works on the content, and the in connection with Andrea, but the syllabus, the promotion, the pricing, and the target should be developed at the same time. I’m not sure if I can help anything on the process. I would be happy to help with this if I can.

I look forward to hearing you back from you. Thank you Matthew.
