Daisy – a type of flower; a name
Thorn – a pointy part of a plant which can hurt your fingers
e.g. Some flowers, like roses, have thorns. Be careful!
Giant – very big!
e.g. In stories sometimes they have giants that are more than four meters tall!

Pronunciation
When you have “g + i,” it can make a “j” sound:
e.g. Giraffe (jer – aff)
e.g. Giant
But this doesn’t work for “i + g”:
