VIP Class Notes (Nick)

Begin writing a daily journal. Try to use vocabulary we learned!

Vocabulary

Centimeter – cm on a ruler, for measuring
e.g. Nick is 178 cm tall.
e.g. How tall is Sophie? We don’t know! Maybe 100 cm?

Vocabulary – new words you learn
e.g. When I have class at Smart English, I want to learn lots of new words.

Take a picture of – to photograph, use a camera to show someone something that they can’t see
e.g. My Mom’s friends took pictures of the snow last year.

Forest – a place with a lot of trees and animals
e.g. Goldilocks went for a walk in the forest.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Crisps – small, thin, round pieces of potato, usually with salt
e.g. Sometimes, Nick likes to eat Lays crisps (when his girlfriend isn’t looking).

Tongue – 石头

Spring – 春天

Trunk – 树干

Day – when you can see the Sun
Night – when you can’t see the Sun (but you can see the Moon!)

Slide – 滑梯

Stool – a short chair with no back or arms
