Vocabulary

String – a thin piece of material, used for tying shoes or for making a guitar, 弦
e.g. My guitar has six strings.

Realistic – when something is similar to the world 现实
e.g. Max likes Wild Racing (狂野飙车), which is more realistic than Mario Kart, which is Nick’s favorite racing game.

Algebra – when you have a math equation, but you don’t know what some of the numbers are (using x, y, z, etc.)
Variable – when you have letters in math (usually x, y, z, etc.)
1000 = 32x + 58x –> x = 11.111…
y = 2x

Vocabulary – words, new words 词汇
e.g. Max likes to learn English because he likes learning new vocabulary.

Comic – 漫画
Graphic Novel – longer than a comic, and for adults 图形小说

Universe – everything, 宇宙
e.g. In Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, there are Spider-people from many different universes.
e.g. The new Spider-Man is really cool and young.
