What did you eat last night for dinner?
— Last night for dinner I ate rice AND a glass of milk.

What is your favorite sport?
— No favorite sport BUT nothing.

Do you play music?
— A long time ago I played the piano BUT now don’t like piano.
Why not?
— Because no time for play the piano ALTHOUGH I think that sounds nice.

What is your favorite subject?
— My favorite subject is math BUT my classmates don’t like math.
— My favorite subject is math BECAUSE sometimes it is useful.

Do you want a pet?
— No, it’s so useless AND 麻烦的 (annoying / bothersome)
— No, it’s so useless BUT . . . (there are no good things about pets)

— A long time ago I played the piano BUT now I don’t like the piano.
