Review body parts and the difference between a table and a desk.
Vocabulary
Body Parts:
Arm – 胳膊 gebo
Leg – 腿 tui
Eye – 眼睛 yanjing
Ear – 耳朵 erduo
Foot – 脚 jiao
Hand – 手 shou
Finger – 手指 shouzhi
Toe - 脚指 jiaozhi
Furniture – things that go in your house, like tables, chairs, desks, couches, beds 家具 jiaju
Desk – a flat place for doing work, like in a classroom or an office
Table – a flat place for eating, or for putting things on
Both are 桌子 zhuozi!
Desk-mate – someone you share a desk with in school 同桌
Booger – something that comes out of your nose
Runny Nose – when boogers are coming out of your nose because you are cold or sick; when you have to blow your nose a lot
Gum – something sweet that you can chew on for a while 口香糖 kouxiangtang
With “gum,” you always say chew.
Chew – to move to your teeth to make food soft
Swallow – when food goes from your mouth to your stomach
Flavor – what something tastes like 味道 weidao
Delete – 删掉shandiao to make something go away
Chicken Wings – 鸡翅 like the arms of a chicken that they use to fly
