From then on, From that moment on, from July on…
This is a formula to show when something began, relating to something else:
From ______ on, [thing that happens, subject of the sentence]
What you put in the space can be a period of time, or an event which begins and ends (the new thing can’t start until the other thing ends)
e.g. I was hit by a baseball at the game, and from then on I’ve had terrible headaches.
e.g. From today on, I will eat more vegetables (beginning today and continuing forever, I will eat more vegetables).
NOT: from school on, I will study more (it’s unclear when “school” ends, so I don’t know when the studying begins)

They are bounded tightly to each other – they are tightly bound to each other
e.g. This restaurant is highly recommended
e.g. I highly recommend this restaurant
The descriptive word goes in front of what it describes.

It’s a gesture of friendly – It’s a friendly gesture; It’s a gesture of friendship

On top their head – on top of their head

Above vs. over – above means that something is higher than me, or my head; over is more specific, and means that something is directly above me.
e.g. There are trees above my house.
e.g. There trees over my house.
The first just means that they are taller, and that they might be over it. The second means that are actually reaching directly over my roof.
