Vocabulary

Brave – someone who is afraid when they see scary things 勇敢,英勇

Prince/Princess – boy/girl

Ham – 火腿

Government – 政府

Tax – when you have to pay money to the government for doing something 税

Sheriff – top police officer 警长

Ow! – what you say when you get hurt

Afraid of – when something makes you feel afraid
e.g. I am afraid of snakes.
Afraid for – when you think something bad might happen to someone else; to worry
e.g. I am afraid for him, because he might get in trouble for not doing his homework.

Traitor – someone who you thought was trying to help you, but is actually trying to hurt you! 叛徒

Married – 结婚

Outlaw – someone the police want to catch
e.g. Robin Hood is an outlaw, because the Sheriff of Nottingham wants to catch him and bring him to the castle.

Hide – when you go somewhere so that other people can’t find you 隐藏

Rich – when someone has a lot of money 有钱,富有

Shrug – when you move you shoulders up and down to show that you don’t know 耸肩

Splash – the sound of going into the water
