to compare two things or two places 比较

e.g. I like Heinan, but I like Thailand more.

e.g. Heinan’s beach is beautiful, but Thailand’s beach is best/is more beautiful.

e.g Heinan’s food is cheap, but Thailand’s food is cheaper.

e.g. Riding a bicycle is fast, but the metro is faster.

e.g. China is big, but Russia 俄国 is bigger.

e.g. I like the iPhone 6, but I like the iPhone XS more.

Vocabulary

spend 花 

e.g. You can spend your money and buy clothes, iPhones.

e.g. You can also spend your time. So Mark spent 6 hours at work today. What did he spend? He spent “time”. How much time did he spend? He spent 6 hours.

“to live with…” 生活在一起

e.g. Who do you live with? I live with my friend.
