What is a painful experience that most people will experience in their life?

Vocabulary

pain / painful – 痛

e.g. When I broke my hand, it was the worst pain I ever experienced.

e.g. When I broke my hand it was very painful.

experience / experiencing – 经验

e.g. I had a very painful experience one time — I hit my head on the floor.

e.g. When I hit my head on the floor, I experienced pain.

e.g. “What doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger.” This means pain is good!

amplify / amplification – 放大

e.g. When you go to a concert outside, they amplify the music so everyone can hear it.

Grammar

Be careful of your tense – if you tell a story make sure you use past tense

“So that” = Why did you do that?
