VIP Class Notes (Nicholas) [S]

Next Class Focus

If an object (a cell phone, a cup, a pencil, a watch) belongs to someone, remember to tell me “who it belongs to” in your sentence.

I like reading articles from the People’s Daily and testing your reading comprehension. These are more difficult articles — you are doing a great job learning the context clues for words that we don’t understand.

Speaking exercise

Do your friends use their cell phones often? Do they bring them to school? Should they be allowed to bring them to school?

They play games with their cell phones and they are…They play Minecraft and some Chinese game. And they always send many pictures in WeChat and it makes me very uncomfortable. Most of our the people in our class have a cell phone. I usually search for English words on my cell phone when I make find new words and sometimes I have lessons on the my cell phone. I like them both. I just send a few messages to friends. Some are very close to me and some are not.

I want to go to Harvard University because I think it is a good university and my mother also wants me to go there.
