Let’s focus on making longer sentences.

Next time Zuley comes in (should be on Sunday)…let’s have a short conversation…write down the contents…and then together try and find ways to make the sentences longer and more complicated.

Pronunciation

Account Executive = sounds like ECK-ZEK-U-TIV

What do you do at your job?

I’m an account executive. I communicate/talk with my clients. 

What type of clients?

I serve/help clients of a beauty and makeup brand. I help them manage their marketing and advertising campaigns.

Who is the client?

A makeup company. But I work for L’Occtaine.

Vocabulary

Asian = a person from Asia usually China, Japan, Korea, but also can be Indonesia, India, etc.

e.g. Nick is from America but he looks Asian.

manage = I control the situation.

e.g. I manage my client’s expectations. Sometimes the clients’ expectations are up and down. Often clients are unhappy because they spend a lot of money, and they want to make sure, that the money is well spent. So, as the account executive I make sure [ensure] that this process goes smoothly.

ensure = make sure; almost like “I promise…you can trust me”.

e.g. I will ensure that he has a good time.

serve = very formal way of saying “help”

e.g. Can I serve you today?

Very similar to this word….”servant”.

I met my girlfriend at my last company we worked together. We have the same hometown. First we are were friends and it tooks about half a year we become THUR until she became my girlfriend. Movie, shopping, cook. We enjoy/love watching movies together, shopping and cooking. And we had go to the gym. And we also go to the gym. 

I go to the gym about five times one a week. We bought the ring atin Korea onin October. Korea’s duty free store is more cheapcheaper than China. The price is similar liketo Europe. And Korea is near byclose to China [Korea is nearby]. So we only need to take two hours. Europe is too far.

My sister is older than me by about 6 years. She has two children now. But I have about thirty cousins. I have three uncles, one aunt. We have a lot of people in our family.
