Maggie’s Trip to Iceland

What city/cities did you go to? What did you think when you were in Iceland? What did you do in Iceland? Who did you go with? Who are these people — can you tell me about them? Their appearance, their personality? Why did you choose Iceland?

I went to the capital city of Iceland. I only saw some pictures in on my phone; My friend tell told me do you want to go to Iceland, I said “maybe if I have time…”. I was there for 9 days.

Grammar

An if…then statement/sentence. If something happens, then somethings else happens.

e.g. If I pass the movie interview then I will go to Yunan.

e.g. If it’s raining on Tuesday then I will not go to school.

e.g. If I’m late to class then I will go home and sleep.

e.g. Maggie can sing, she can act, and she can play piano. She is very talented.

technique 技术 — how you do something…making sure that you do something with the proper stlye and posture and movement — doing these things the right way.

e.g. Maggie has great technique when she sits at the piano.

e.g. Nicholas began fighting Muay thai. He has great energy, but poor technique. He is very strong, but his technique is very bad — and everyone can beat him.
