Speaking exercise

Before I decided to go to Paris I had already already had a job — I it paid well/I was well paid, but I was bored for with my life like got to work at 9:00 and finish at 6:00 so I wanted to change a little bit so I decided to go abroad (P) because I love fashion so I choose Paris to go / so I chose to go to Paris. At first, my family wasnt a great happy with this for this decision because they think like age as 25  at age 25 — you should be more stableneed to stay stable and find someone to get married to and “why do you want to go abroad”. It was just my mother who supported me / my decision to go abroad.  to me to go there.

But I learned not too much before I went to Paris. I learned for only 3 months and when I arrived in Paris I lived with some Chinese girl who learned French with me in China but they went there before me. The first night because I stayed with someone I knew before so I feel felt it was OK, the second day when I went to school for orientation — when I saw a lot of teachers, and the teachers spoke French that I cannot understand, I felt very scared and when I didn’t know how to take the metro, and I even didn’t know how to ask someone to find the way or the entry of the metro. The second day I really wanted to go back to China. When you speak English with the French /French people they don’t want to answer you, they always pretend that they don’t understand. They don’t like to speak English. So I felt very lonely. The first months in Paris were very hard for me. I think I cried every night. But after I got some friends in school, they were very friendly to me so I felt better and better. I learned one year French…half year French in Paris and half year in Nice. I learned / studied French for one year — half a year in Paris & half a year in Nice. Then I went to designer school.

Firstly, I’m proud of myself that during those 5-years I can learned to speak fluently French. And, I think I become became braver. Before when I was in university I think my personality is was more shy, and I don’t like too much make friends I stay always with the same friends [I was introverted]. Now I like to make new friends [now I’m a bit more extroverted]. I like to talk to different peoples.

I want to have cooperations with some big designers maybe. In the future, I hope to cooperate with some big desiners. If I can work for Gucci or Celine — that would be great, and I like to travel, I want to travel more in the next 5 years when whileI’m still young.
