Speaking exercise

Dolce Controversy – What happened?

Dolce said something totally wrong about China, about Chinese people, every Chinese all Chinese people were is totally angry about that and [they tried to make a public apology to the Chinese people].they really had a public apology to China and Chinese. I don’t wanna say some bad words about them [I don’t want to speak poorly about them] because you know someone said Dolce is “bullshit” actually — but I won’t say that. I think both Dolce and the Chinese should respect to each other’s culture, but for me, I think the designers is are really out of date about with their opinions about China and the Chinese. They are totally out of date.

When I first see saw the videos about the chopsticks before Dolce said that those bad words..I think thought or I was thinking] somehow it is the was a cultural confrontation, but after I saw the bad words I thought it’s not just cultural confrontation.

When someone posted the record, Dolce said it’s not me, my account …[was hacked]. But for the second time, they made a public apologize…they said I’m so sorry about that. It’s not honest. It wasn’t honest — in my opinion.

My friend’s friend worked in Dolce as a PR [consultant], she said to my friend “oh/all the PR team resigned that night”. Anyone [nobody] wants to deal with that.
