intriguing (adj): very interesting because of being unusual or mysterious
非常有趣的;引人入胜的;神秘的
E.g.:an intriguing possibility/question
极具吸引力的可能性/问题
E.g.:She has a really intriguing personality.
她的个性极具魅力。

I find her very intriguing-我觉得她很有趣

predict (v): to say that an event or action will happen in the future, especially as a result of knowledge or experience
预言;预料,预计
E.g.: It’s still not possible to accurately predict the occurrence of earthquakes.
现在仍无法准确预报地震的发生。
E.g.: Who could have predicted that within ten years he’d be in charge of the whole company?
谁能预料到10年内他会掌管整个公司?

predictable (adj): happening or behaving in a way that you expect and not unusual or interesting
意料之中的;墨守成规的,按老一套办事的
E.g.:The ending to the film was just so predictable.
这部电影的结局太老套了。

unpredictable (adj): likely to change suddenly and without reason and therefore not able to be predicted (= expected before it happens) or depended on
变幻莫测的;难以预见的,无法预测的
E.g.: The weather there can be unpredictable – one minute it’s blue skies and the next minute it’s pouring rain.
那儿的天气有点儿变幻莫测—— 一会儿晴空万里,一会儿又大雨倾盆。
E.g.: The hours in this job are very unpredictable – you sometimes have to work late at very short notice.

formal (adj): Formal language, clothes, and behaviour are suitable for serious or official occasions.

E.g.: a formal dinner party
