Vocabulary

footprint (n): 1-足迹, a mark left on a surface by a person’s foot or shoe or by an animal’s foot
E.g.: footprints in the sand沙地足迹

soil-土壤 , the top layer of the earth in which plants, trees, etc. grow
E.g.: Astronauts, took rock and soil

rocket (n): 1-火箭
a spacecraft in the shape of a tube that is driven by a stream of gases let out behind it when fuel is burned inside
E.g. :a space rocket太空火箭
E.g.: The rocket was launched in 1969.-这枚火箭发射于1969年。

launch (v): 1-发射；把（航天器、武器等）发射上天；水中发射
to send sth such as a spacecraft , weapon, etc. into space, into the sky or through water
E.g.: to launch a rocket into space

space (n): 1-the empty area outside Earth’s atmosphere, where the planets and the stars are外层空间，太空
E.g.: space exploration/travel
