Vocabulary

price (oneself, someone, or something) out of the market
To change the price of something in such a way that the market becomes no longer competitive or viable for oneself, someone, or something.
E.g.: They’ve really priced themselves out of the market by selling the new model at such a high price.
E.g.: Giant retail chains are pricing locally owned shops out of the market all over the country.

curriculum (n): all the subjects taught in a school, college, etc., or on an educational course

Kids are coming from different countries/from al around the world

The teachers are experienced

critical thinking-批判性思维
Teachers are trying to develop the students’ critical thinking.

field (n): an area of activity or interest

E.g.: the field of history/science/medicine

E.g.: Are you still in the same field (= are you doing the same type of work)?

palate (n): the top part of the inside of your mouth
2-A person’s palate is also the ability to taste and judge good food and drink:
E.g.: I let my palate dictate what I eat.

diligent (adj): careful and using a lot of effort

E.g.: a diligent student
