they didn’t care about him-他们不在乎他

The main character his parents were not care about him, so he wanted his parents attention and he did some strange things and it made others laugh.
His parents thought he was happy because he often does some strange things but actually he want to please others. If other people didn’t laugh at him he would feel nervous. He was very unhappy when he was a child because his parents never understand him.

He was mentally unstable and when he grow up he became alcoholic and he was a coward. When his wife was raped he was afraid to go against rapist. I think his family influenced him, I think his parents should pay more attention to him. If they focused on him maybe he could/might become a healthy person
