Grammar

We use apostrophe s (’s), also called possessive ’s, as a determiner to show that something belongs to someone or something:

Is that Olivia’s bag?-那是奥利维亚的包吗？

Mother’s-
Nemo’s -Nemo’s birthday in in October
Joe’s- This is Joe’s pencil case

singular noun + ’s

The girl’s bedroom-(The bedroom belongs to one girl.)

plural noun + ’

The girls’ bedroom. (The bedroom belongs to more than one girl.)
