Vocabulary

doable (adj): 1-If something is doable, it can be achieved or performed.
可行的可以做的
E.g. : This project may be difficult, but I still think it’s doable.
这个项目可能会很难但我认为还是可行的。

penniless (adj): 1-having no money一文不名的一贫如洗的
E.g. : She fell in love with a penniless artist.她爱上了一个一贫如洗的画家。

vice versa (adv): 1-  used to say that what you have just said is also true in the opposite order反过来也一样反之亦然
E.g. : He doesn’t trust her, and vice versa (= she also doesn’t trust him).
他不信任她她也一样不信任他。
E.g. : He refuses to believe anything they say and vice versa.

entire (adj): 1-whole or complete, with nothing missing
全部的;整个的;完全的;完整的
E.g. : He spent the entire afternoon watching a movie.
E.g. : I ate an entire cake by myself

by (preposition): not later than; at or before
不迟于早于
E.g. : She had promised to be back by five o’clock.她答应过5点前回来。

Grammar

When do we use a and when do we use an?
In speaking, we use a /ə/ before a consonant sound:

a car a house a big truck a wheel a grey day

Warning:
Some words that begin with a vowel letter in writing have a consonant sound:

/ə ju:ˈnaɪtɪd …/ /ə ju:niˈvɜ:sɪti/ /ə wʌn …/

a united group a university a one-year-old child

We use an /ən/ before a vowel sound:

an apple an old shoe an orchestra an umbrella

Warning:
