vice (-a moral fault or weakness in someone’s character

Greed, pride, envy, and lust are considered to be vices.

dismember (v): 1-to cut, tear, or pull the arms and legs off a human body肢解，分割…的肢体

absorb (v):to take something in, especially gradually（尤指逐渐）吸收
