Whistleblower – Someone who exposes secret information (Usually about a company or the government)
eg. America has laws that protect whistleblowers from their companies.

Falter – to fall or mess up
eg. Her performance at work has been faltering

Scrambling – to act quickly, usually used in a emergency or a time sensitive situation
eg. The Chinese government is scrambling to increase the birth rate.

Urbanization – when a country has more cities being created
eg. China has seen rapid urbanization in the last 40 years.

Urban migration – when people most from rural areas to urban
eg. China is seeing a large amount of urban migration in recent years.

Welfare – When a government gives you money because you are poor
eg. Many poor Americans are on welfare.

Domestic Violence – When members of the same family fight (physically)
eg. There is a lot of domestic violence in northern China.

Elite – the best
eg. This is the most elite technology on the market.

Elitist – you think you are the best
eg. The shanghaiese can be very elitist.

Worldview – how you see the world; what you think about the world
eg. Kids today have a more broad worldview than in the past.

Nouveau Riche – New money rich
eg. There are a lot of nouveau riche chinese playboys.

During the past decades, china has the one child policy for one family. And from maybe several years ago the chinese government has been changing this kind of birth policy because as the number increase of the elderly we are losing our countrys advantages of manpower. Im still not sure why the government would just put this kind of policy into action. Because china is the biggest country in the world. So why should they increase the number of population.

They weather is not so good. It is freezing cold in winter and freezing hot in summer. – The weather isn’t great. It is freezing cold in winter and boiling hot in summer.
