Hold out – to persevere; to wait

You tell me – An expression for when someone asks you something, but they are more likely to know the answer.

Gimmick – cheap marketing tactic

eg. Sonic has a gimmick where the waitresses wear roller skates.

Grammar

I have to decide if go to Gili – I have to decide if I should go to Gili or not.

Pronunciation

Try to focus on deliberate pausing. If you’re trying to think of a word, a silent pause is better than saying ‘uh’ or ‘um’ out loud.
