  1. Please write a summary of the story. Include the characters, setting, and events in the story (in chronological order). Damon is NOT allowed to look at page 45, but he can read the story as much as he needs.
  2. Be prepared to tell me something you learned in school on Monday.

Notes from previous homework (writing about people in his community):

  1. The plural of man is men (policeman – policemen, fireman – firemen).
  2. Beginning a sentence with because is grammatically correct, but I would advise not to do it yet. Damon’s writing and speaking are not advanced enough to use it correctly.
