COVID 19 changed and influenced many people’s lives in 2020. It affected my personal life a lot. For example, I could not travel abroad and my foreign friends had to cancel their trips to China. Although video chat apps could help us to get through coronavirus lockdowns, nothing can replace the cozy gathering with friends and family. On the other hand, due to the decrease of social activities, I did have more time for reading. I read 20 books for the whole year, which helped me relax and gained knowledge. With regard to my work, fortunately, my work in general was not affected too much. Thanks to the modern technology, working from a distance is not something impossible.

For 2021, I hope I can read more books and get to know this world better. I also would like to spend more time on my German. Currently, I do not have many opportunities to practice my German, so it is crucial for me to find a good way to retain my language skills. I plan to improve my professional skills as well. Laws and regulations are changing all the time. This year I will keep learning through online course platform.
