Speaking exercise

  • Can you cook well?

I think I am not a good cooker, but I have tried many times. Yesterday I made some Chinese food for me and my roommates. I made a dish names called/named tomato with eggs, but I didn’t put salt in it. So it is really bland! I think the process of cooking is very complex. First you need to cut vegetables in pieces and you need to turn on the fire gas. Then I put the food in the bowl. Untill the food is cooked (finished cooking) I need (must) stand in the kitchen. I think the process is very hard to me. I find cooking very difficult

  • What country’s food do you like the most?

Of it is Chinese food! I like the food from Guandong the most. Especially the hotpot in from Guandong. The water in the hotpot is pure, without any herbs. And  Also you can taste the really the food itself. I like to eat food that is  more subtle. Last month I went Shantou with my friend. It is a city that belongs to Guandong province. The food there is really delicious. We ate many rare types of food there like shark fin for example. I think it is really good! And we ate the head of duck Duck head. It is boiled with herbs. I think the taste of it is hard to forget quite memorable.
