Grammar

when you use proper nouns you can refer to them using a pronoun (he, she, it, them) the second time in the same sentence/right after the first sentence

ex. The Forbidden City is very famous because it is a historical landmark in China.

ex. Alex is tall. He goes to my school.

when you own something (ex. a pet, an object) – you use an apostrophe (‘) before the S

ex. Sam‘s camera/The Forbidden City‘s gate

*if your name ends with an “s”, then you put the apostrophe after the “s”

ex. Hades‘ pencil/Zeus’ children

I like the Forbidden City because the Forbidden City records the long history of China. It is located in Beijing. In the Forbidden City, there are many palaces and gardens. There are many people in it. The Forbidden Citys gate is very big and it has five doors. I take many pictures there, because the Forbidden City is very big.
