Vocabulary

itchy – when your skin looks red and you want to scratch it

scratch – to rub your skin with nails

ex. I need to scratch my itchy leg.

cast – the mould you have on your broken arm

ex. The nurse put on the cast for me.

wobbly – not straight

ex. My handwriting is very wobbly.

CT scan – a type of scan that you do at the hospital

ex. I went to the hospital to get a CT scan.

superstition – a set of beliefs that people have

ex. Wearing black on Chinese New Year is considered bad luck (example)

ex. There are many Chinese superstitions.

Popeye went to a town. But some robbers came and caught his wife and friend so he went to their home. First, they tied him on a pool. There is a shark. So he ate some spinach and became strong. Finally, he beat and killed the bad wife. The he took the money back to town. So all the citizens were happy again.
