Speaking exercise

Quality is more important.

I used to have a lot of friends but it makes me feel like I’m getting well with people but in fact, that’s not true. Before I came to SH we were close, but now we don’t talk a lot. It’s because we’re not in the same city and we don’t have the same hobby anymore and also we are lack of topics because we are not together anymore. So I prefer quality of friends now. Real friends are always there with you no matter what or where you are.

Yes, because my personality is introverted so sometimes I don’t know how to chat with people. I am also scared of talking with others sometimes. I think it’s because I think too much before I chat with them. The more I think, the more anxious I will be.

If I’m not in a good mood, I don’t want be the first one to talk. If people around me are outgoing. I think it’s because I am a cancer.

I think that horoscopes say the commons of people but I think everyone lives in a situation or a unique environment so every one is unique.

Revised:

Quality is more important.

I used to have a lot of/many friends so it makes me feel like I’m getting along well with people but in fact, that’s not true. Before I came to SH, my friends and I were close, but now, we don’t talk a lot/catch-up often. It’s because we’re not in the same city and we don’t have the same hobbies anymore and therefore, we lack common topics to talk about. So I prefer quality over quantity now. Real friends are always there for you no matter what or where you are.

Yes, because my personality is introverted so sometimes I don’t know how to chat with people. I am also scared of talking with/lack the courage to talk with others sometimes. I think it’s because I think too much/overthink  before I chat with them. The more I think, the more anxious I will be.

If I’m not in a good mood, I don’t want to be the first one to talk/I won’t make the first move/take the initiative. People around me are outgoing. I think it’s because I am a cancer.

I think that horoscopes generalise people’s character, but I think everyone lives in a different situation or environment so every one is unique.

Writing exercise

How do you deal with things that you don’t know how to solve?

It seems like a no answer question, but those problems keep coming to us, we need a relatively comfortable way to deal with them.

First of all, if you don’t know how to deal with them, just ignore them. No one says you should have a solution immediately, so just take advantages of those time to think about them. Secondly, you can ask others for help. Find someone you trust and has more experiences than you. Maybe he had been through the same thing as you are. Or he would be calmer than you at least, since he’s a bystander.

Thirdly, if you really don’t know how to do or you want it finished quickly, then stops thinking the perfect answer, just to do! If you think more, you would be more anxious. How do you know it’s good or not if you don’t even take an action.

People always move towards bravely but with fear. So I suppose that the best way for the problem you don’t know how to deal with is to move on.
