eg. I bring my friend to a restaurant to have dinner.

eg. I bring my homework to class.

I know what you mean/I understand you/I get you but..

give up: not do something anymore 放弃

eg. He has been asked to give up on eating chocolates.

eg. It took him 3 years to give up smoking.

sign up: to agree to join an activity

eg. I signed up to many online courses.

eg. She signed up to the gym near her workplace.

etc.: and so on

eg. apple, oranges, banana etc.

which is which? – how can you tell the difference?

memorise: to remember something exactly

eg. When I studied English 3 years ago, I tried to memorise a lot of words.

eg. She tried to memorise everyone’s phone number.

Grammar

I don’t have the chance to communicate because my English is bad so I need to improve my English.

I spend a little time doing sports because I’m very busy with my work so I decided to give up.

Learning English for me is very difficult. I can’t remember this Chinese meaning. Actually, in my work, I don’t have any chance to speak English because of I’m working in foreign company so I must to improve my English level to use for my work. Now, I don’t need to use English in my work, but I will use English in one year. I will spend more time communicate with others than designing. Now, I have chance to communicate with foreign company, but because my English is bad so I don’t have the chance to communicate.

I like staying at home the whole day and watching TV. I signed up to many online training courses. In the weekend, I have class all day. I don’t like doing sport, travelling and shopping etc. I live in SH one year, I don’t have many friends. We play together twice a month. I spend much time at home and office, but I don’t go outside.

Now, I have chances to communicate with foreign companies, but because my English is bad so I don’t have the chance to communicate.
