counsellor: someone who takes care of children at a summer camp.

Stanley arrived at the Green Lake Camp and he met a man called Mr. Sir. Mr. Sir told him the rules of the camp and he said, “don’t run away”. He is assigned to tent D. He met a counsellor called Pendanski. Pendanski told him where to sleep and the other members of the tent. Then Stanley take a shower, eat dinner with other members of the tent and go to bed.

He tells Stanley that although Mr. Sir looks scary, it’s just because he often smokes and he has a bad mood.

To make themself better because they miss their mum.
