The last topic was about ” if you want to divorce, do you need to wait until your child is after school.” The result is there are two groups: one is for the topic and the other is against the topic. The team that is for the topic was win. They think if the people divorce before the high school examination, it will affect the score. They also think that if the people divorce when the children were young, the children are pity because they need to choose who they want to live with. Every year, you need to remember which side you need to choose to decide which side they need to join the dinner for Spring Festival. You need to always remember or it will hurt one of your parents. One of the opinions is that divorce will take a long time to process. It takes a long time to discuss about the money. Maybe the divorce procedure is not finish when children have finished the high school examination so why not wait until then.

For the other team that is against the topic, they think the parent’s happiness is also important as children. So they don’t need to sacrifice their own life to wait until their children finish the high school examination. Their children also don’t want their parents to sacrifice a lot for them. They also want their parents to have a happy life. Most of the participants, is the people who already have children for a parent, they want to do more for their children. So, I think it’s hard for the team against the topic to win.

For me, I was against the topic because I think everyone is independent even you are a parent, you also have right to purchase your happiness.

Revised:

The last topic is about ” if you want to divorce, do you need to wait until your child has finished school/graduated.” There are two groups: one supports the notion and the other is against the notion. The team that supports the notion won. They think that if people/couples divorce before the high school examination, it will affect the child’s score/results. They also think that if people divorce when the children are young, they would have difficulties deciding/they would struggle to choose because they need to choose who they want to live with. Every year, you need to remember/keep track of whose side to go for the reunion dinner during Spring Festival. You must remember otherwise you will hurt one of your parents. One of the opinions is that the divorce process will take a long time. It takes a long time to discuss the financial matters/come to an agreement about the alimony. Maybe the divorce process hasn’t completed/finalised when the children finished their high school examination, so why not wait until then.

For the other team that is against the topic, they think the parent’s happiness is as important as the children. So they don’t need to sacrifice their own life to wait until their children finish their examination. Their children also don’t want their parents to sacrifice too much for them. They also want their parents to have a happy life. Most of the participants are people who already have children. They want to do more for their children, so I think it’s hard for the team who are against the topic to win.

For me/In my opinion/Personally.., I was against the topic because I think everyone is independent even if you become a parent. You also have the right to pursue your happiness.
