I’ve been working in Zara for almost 4 years. It’s already a long time for the same position. When I first started, I was the junior person of this position. Then change to senior, and promote to assistant manager. All of the position have a little change. The main task is similar so sometimes I think I can change to another position. In our company, I work in financial department and in our department there are over sixty person. For each team responsible for a different task. You just work for a part of the task. It’s not good for your career development. Sometimes we have the opportunity to change to another team but I’m not confident because you don’t have those experience. If you speak to your line manager, maybe she will not be happy.

For some people, they cannot take this role so maybe after 1-2 months, they still cannot good at their job. You often work overtime to meet the deadline of finance closing. You need to be responsible of the result of the task.

I’ve been working in Zara for almost 4 years. It’s been a long time for me, working in the same position. When I first started, I was a junior in this position/role. Then I became a senior and was then promoted to an assistant manager. All of these positions have similar tasks. The main task is similar so sometimes I think I can change to another position. In our company, I work in the finance department and in our department, there are over sixty people. Each team is responsible for a different task. You just work on a part of the task. It’s not good for your career development. Sometimes we have the opportunity to change to another team but I’m not confident because I don’t have those experiences. If you speak to your line manager, she might not be happy.

For some people, they cannot take this role so maybe after 1-2 months, they still won’t do well/perform well for their job. You often work overtime to meet the finance closing deadline. You need to be responsible for the outcome of the task.
