Vocabulary

sailor – somebody who works on a ship

fight -> fought (past tense) 

Eat more spinach and you can become stronger 

leafy vegetables – has leaves

broccoli – the vegetable that looks like a tree

spoon – what you use to eat kiwis or drink soup

ex. I use a spoon to eat kiwi.

knife – a sharp tool to help you cut meat

ex. Some knives at restaurants are not sharp enough.

Grandma’s head was on fire – to start burning

electricity – power to your lights/house

ex. Mr Bean made his own electricity from a few tools in his yard.

Grammar

days of the week – on 

ex. On Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday…

At Monday, I had swimming class and I yoga at Sunday.

On Monday, I had swimming class and on Sunday, I had yoga class. 

Because I don’t have any classes for sports. It’s run and skip the rope and swimming.

Because I don’t have any sports classes. I have running, skipping the rope and swimming classes in school. 

Grade 4 is swimming and grade 3 is football. Grade 2 is baseball.
