Vocabulary

laundry: dirty clothes or bedsheets that needs to be washed

eg. I do my laundry every day.

dishes: dirty plates, bowls, cups

eg. Aiai never does the dishes.

exercise: activities that you do to make your body strong and healthy

eg. Swimming is my favourite type of exercise.

eg. I spend 1 hour to do exercises every 2 days.

living room – part of the house with the couch, TV etc

performance: dance, sing or act for other people

eg. The Japanese couple likes Mr Bean’s dance performance so they decided to stay with him.

eg. Would you like to give a performance in front of the school?

Grammar

Make vs. Do 

make – a cake/a present/friends/money/a call/a wish/someone happy/an excuse/a mistake/a mess

do – your homework/housework/your work or job/the laundry/the dishes/your hair/exercise

don’t/doesn’t (present) – didn’t (past tense)

ex. Mr Bean doesn’t have food at home to serve the couple.

eg. Aiai doesn’t know how to speak English.

ex. Aiai didn’t like to eat meat when she was little.

Speaking exercise

A lady and a man ring the bell. The bell goes “ding ding ding” and then Mr Bean came out and they want to live in Mr Bean’s home because they think it’s a hotel. Mr Bean say “yes” in English. But, the man and the lady didn’t know what is he saying because they are speaking Japanese. They go to a room and sit down. Mr Bean ask “Do you want some tea?” in English. They said, “What did you say?” in Japanese. But, Mr Bean didn’t understand so Mr Bean’s mama go out and said “Do you want some tea?” The man and the lady said, “Okay” in Japanese.

They think it’s a hotel. They like it so Mr Bean’s mama get the tea in the room and said, “Do you want some tea?” Because it’s not the real hotel so they go to the real hotel. Yeah, they did. No, they like Mr Bean’s song.
