Vocabulary
mask: what you put on your face every day
pattern: shapes, lines or colours on clothing
eg. What kind of pattern is on your shirt?
eg. This black and white shirt has polka dot patterns.
diamond: bright, shiny stones
price: how much something costs
eg. What is the price?
eg. Aiai bought a beautiful pink dress for a very cheap price.
skirt: bottom piece of clothing that looks like the bottom half of a dress
eg. Cinderlion looks great in a skirt.
striped: a pattern that has long lines spread across the surface
checkered: a pattern that looks the same as a tablecloth
polka dot: a pattern that has circles spread across the surface
carriage: a vehicle that is pulled by horses; like a horsecar 马车
rags: old and torn piece of cloth
eg. Cinderella would not go to the ball if she wore rags.
turn A to B – change one thing to another thing
eg. The fairy turned the pumpkin into a carriage.
Grammar
lend – to another person
Aiai lend her shoes to me
You can lend her a dress.
borrow – from another person
Can I borrow your shoes?
