ex: Figure skating is very suitable for girls,

2. helmet= protection for the head
ex: You must wear a helmet when you go ice-skating.

For our generation, the weather in Shanghai in warm, so lot of children never see ice. So we can’t play activities on the ice. But now in Shanghai, especially for opening of the Winter Olympics, ice sport events are much more popular. It’s hard to adults. I tried once, but I always fall down. Maybe one day will continue to practice. When he goes to school, he played hockey once a week. He likes to free-skate without private coach about twice a week. When my son was nearly 5 years old, there was only one place for us to practice ice-skate, in 2017, another one opened. But the coach are from northern cities, more and more Shanghai children have the opportunity to take part in winter sports like figure skating, hockey. Curling is very fun, but you must calculate the distance.
