1.prevent (verb)= 防止
ex: you should wear an apron to prevent the splash.

2. get off work/ finish work/ off =下班
ex: when are you off (school/ work)?
ex: I’m off! = I got off work!= I finished work!

3. choose (verb)= 选
choice (noun)= 选择
ex: what do you want to eat? you have two choices: Japanese or Chinese?
ex: you can choose a restaurant.
ex: I can choose a university that I like.
ex: You’re not my first choice.

4. incentive= 奖励 激励
ex: we all need some incentives at work, maybe bonus, food, vacations.
ex: Starbucks offers lots of incentives to their employees (baristas).

I bought some kinds of things for his daily life. After he leave, I’ll learn how to take care of the cat and totoro and choice good snacks for them. He told me one interesting thing that if you arrive at company at 9 a.m., you will get extra 20 yuan, and if you work off after 9 p.m., you will get same money again. This kind of reward rules is suitable for game companies.
