Vocabulary

1.yoga center= a place to practice yoga
ex: My mom goes to the yoga center to learn yoga.
ex: I used to go to the yoga center 2 years ago.

2. previous= 之前的 上一个
ex: we always have to review the previous class’s note.
ex: My previous job is a policeman.

3. owner= 主人
ex: I am the owner of the table.
ex: did you see the owner of the book?

4. abandon (verb)= 抛弃 don’t want something
ex: The cat was abandoned by her owner, so she lives on the street.
ex: I will abandon my rabbit.

5. adopt= 领养 when you raise other animals/ babies for free.
ex: if you want a baby, you can adopt a kid.
ex: I can adopt the cat.

6. member= 成员
ex: my dog is a new member of the family.

7. lick= 舔 with your tongue
ex: my mom cooks so well, i always lick the plate.
ex: my cat licks my hand.

8. behind = 后面
ex: there is a man behind you
ex: I am standing behind you.

Molly’s first party. Molly had four nice pets to play with, their names were jumbo, big boy penny and quack. Jumbo was a fat little pig who liked to dig holes with his nose. Big Boy was a big white rooster who was very proud. Penny was a little dog who could do tricks. And you can guess that Quack was a little yellow duck.

Molly had just come to town from the farm. She did not know any children in town, but she had a good time playing with her pets. After school started, Molly made many new friends. All the children liked her and were very nice to her. One day Betty Jane asked Molly to come to a party at her house on the next Saturday. Molly had never gone to a party before. She was so happy that she ran all the way home to tell her mother about it. Molly’s mother was happy too, when Molly told her about the party. I know that you will have a nice time she said, and you shall have a new dress for your first party. Molly thought she could not wait for Saturday to come. But Saturday afternoon came at last, and Molly was ready for the party.

Nine month ago, in a yoga center, my mom saw a dog, the dog is yellow and it was a small head. Mom likes this dog, so she will ask the teacher why the dog in your yoga center, teacher said, his previous owner put it here.we saw the dog, we will keep it here, maybe the owner abandoned it. Can i adopt him? my mom said “of course!”, then own house has one more member, he is just 2 months. That day, my cat very curious this dog, she sleeping with the dog, a week passed/ went by, the dog is likes my house cat, then my dog will lick for the car. Maybe he is like my house.

Maybe he likes my house.
